Hey, this is Jadelyn the awesome ‘o’. Well over the past few days we have been 2 many places. Such as we went the French Quarters of New Orleans in Louisiana . It was the worst place 4 kids! All there was is bars, bars, and some more bars. That was only on Bourbon St. But what made the day was we went 2 Cafe Du Monde 4 some very, very, very, very, very GOOD BAIGHNETS and coffee (iced coffee of course because it was so HOT outside.) Around the next block there was a cute little store called "So Good." There I got some cute little diamond earrings. While on Bourbon st. we got Mardi Gras masks, they are so cool.
The day before we went 2 LSU, it is an awesome collage in Louisiana.
Their mascot is Mike the tiger. Well what U probabley do not know is that Mike the tiger is a real live tiger. It was so huge and cute ( and not tamed).
Aloha it is Kylie I’m going to talk about the Alamo. The Alamo was a very very big war Texas vs. Mexico well it was very uneven there were thousands of the Mexican soldiers and only a couple hundred soldiers for Texas. Many of you have heard of Davy Crocket and I think some of you would know this but he was in the Alamo for Texas. This was for Texas to have independence. We also went to the Riverwalk which was awesome! We had a delicious lunch and a bout tour. Well at LSU we went to “Chimes” the restaurant and we had ALLIGATOR, I’m talking alligator tails! Ryan and Jake’s Uncle Ted went to LSU and recommended this restaurant. Oh by the way LSU baseball team became National Champs a day before we arrived. Today we are going to Orlando, to Disney World in Florida!
Love, Jadelyn and Kylie

I love that the girls are learning about history, (nice summary about the Alamo, Kylie) geography and experiencing different cuisines. You're far braver than I am, 'cause I would never eat alligator ANYTHING...tails, feet, legs....yucky. Have a wonderful 4th of July in our nation's capitol. I'm sure you'll have some awesome stories to tell there!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to experience the oh-so-yummy beignets at Cafe du Monde... that place is the best! :)
