Amish Country/Philadelphia
Joy here, My favorite so far is the Amish Country, we stayed in an RV resort in New Holland just outside Intercourse, PA. It is amazingly beautiful. We saw many hors
e and buggies pulling the Amish through town. The homemade baked goods are wonderful. We learned a lot about the Amish culture and enjoyed all the little antique and quilt shops. The girls will tell you the rest :-)
Howdie, it is Kylie here I am going to talk about the Amish Country! It was amazing and cool I want to
live their when I am older! We went to a tour on a horse and buggy and the Amish people wear clothes like back in the old days, like homemade dresses with apron
s and the men wear suspenders. The married men have beards but no m
ustaches. They don’t believe in electricity they have big farms and raise cows, sheep and horses I even saw a bull! One day we went to a Dairy F
arm we saw them milk th
e cows it was so cool th
ey did not use there hands don’t worry . We also saw baby cows,a cat and a dog well a
bulldog it was so CUTE her name was Samatha! The dairy farm had homemade ice cream and we bought the milk and it was the freshest and best milk I have ever had. We had homemade pie, whoppie pies and rootbeeer and all that! It was so AWESOME! My sister will now talk about
Phili!
Yo yo this Jadelyn talkin about Phili. It has been a lot of fun and historical. We saw the great Liberty Bell. You can see it
in the picture. We then went to Independence Hall where they wrote, adopted and signed the Constitution of the United States. I was unable to see it all because I had a little bug (threw up the night before) so I was a little weak. Once we had a big lunch I got my energy back. We then went on a double decker bus we saw where Rocky ran up the stairs in the movie.....so cool! Aunt Colleen told us the great places to eat so we ate at Dante and Luigis Italian restaurant. Yummy!! We also had cheese steaks on South Street. We meet a friend named Nikki at our campsite, she is a lot of fun. We went swimming, caught some guppies with a net and played in
the arcade. On our last day we went on a tube ride down the Brandywine river it was awesome! It took 2 hours and it was fantastic and relaxing. Bye for now and it might be a while until our next post because the campground in New York does not have Wi-Fi :( Love to all !

DC part 2 / Gettysberg
Hey people, this is Jadelyn talking. I will talk all about the last few days in Washington D.C. The last few days where the more
depressing days. That is because
in the last few days we have gone to war
memorials and depressing museum
s like the Holocaust museum. In the Holocaust museum we saw pictures, models, and artifacts from the Holocaust. As y
ou can imagine it was very intense and sa
d for kids like Kylie and I. But to make it worse we w
ent to the Civil War, Vietnam War, and
the Korean War memorials. We also went to
the Arlington Cemetery. This is where President Kennedy and his family are buried. We saw his family plot and there is a flame that never goes out.
The best part of the cemetery is the Tomb of the
Unknown Soldier. There is a guard that marches 21 steps back and fourth guarding the tomb. We got to see the changing of the guard which happens every 30 minutes. It was very impressive! The guard had to yell at 2 different ladies who where not standing during the ceremony. To show respect he asked that everyone stood. Again we walked many miles and the final day we went to the Natu
ral History Museum. We also saw the I
MAX movie Night at the Museum Battle of the Smithsonian. It was great especially because we were there in Washington and had just seen so many of the things that are in the movie :) My favorite part of the museum was the fossils of the dinosaurs and sea animals, I did not like se
eing the present day animals stuffed I would rather see them in the wild or at
a zoo alive! Oh I almost forgot to tell you about the awesome shopping in Georgetown, it was like the best stores ever! Kylie and I got super cute book bags from one of my favorite stores...... JUICY!!!!
Hee Hee it is Kylie ! Today we just left the battlefield of the Civil War Gettysberg, Pennsylvania. We did an awesome tour of the battlefield and all over Gettysberg and we learned a lot about
the Civil War and about dif
ferent Generals and the 3 days of fig
hting between the Union and the Confederates and stuff like that. You can see that Gettysberg has a lot of history. It happened to b
e biker week in Gettysberg so there were m
otorcycles and people with long hair, weird beards and mustaches (like my dads) and leather clothes everywhere. They will have a parade on Sat. that will have 35,000 + bikers in the parade. We also went on a ghost tour this one was different from the one in Savannah. This time we went on a very scary one it was freaking me OUT! We went through the house where the only civilian was shot and killed during the fight at Gettysberg her name is Jennie
Wade and the house she died in was also on the TV show Americas Most Haunted. We think we got a ghost orb in our picture. We also went to a Cyclorama of the war and saw a movie! We also went to a very historical museum all about the war, slaves and Abe Lincoln we heard the famous speech by Lincoln at Gettysberg! We a
re now headed toward the Amish country in Lancaster. Hip hip cherry oh ~ Kylie

there is the Lincoln Memorial well we saw it and it was so BIG (I don’t know if you now
that Lincoln has huge eyebrows!) We went to the Air and Space Museum and the Zoo it was FREE I want to live in Washington someday! First the Air and Space Museum is all about air and space we saw so many different things like the first aircraft to land on the moon and a real space ship ........... COOL! Now the Zoo it was free and better than the ones that you have to p
ay for rad there was like all the
animals in the world! My personal fav was the Red Panda. Let me tell you, in just one day I worked my butt off. We walk A Lot and in the morning we ran to the Cap. because we were runni
ng late! That’s what my sis will talk........ Well good bye! :o
Hello this
is the new president Barack Obama!!!!!!!!!! J.K. this is Jadelyn from
Washington D.C. our state capital. Cool I know. I know Kylie said a lot of stuff but there is more. Like the amazing fireworks on 4th of July, we got th
e very best spot. We had 2 wait an hour and a half 4 them 2 finally start. It lasted a full 20 min. and we were not smart enough 2 video it so here is at least a picture. This was all on 4th of July. On the first day we
got here we went 2 a museum called the American History Museum( I think that is what it is called.) The day af
ter we went to the famous Fuddruckers A.K.A Fudds. It was so good and delicious. We even went 2 a Spy Museum in Chinatown, all you James Bond wannabees would LOVE this Museum. ‘‘Dun Dun!’’ The day before when we went 2 the spy museum we were walking and my daddy saw a good place 2 eat called Chop’t. So the da
y after we were in Chinatown and we went 2 Chop’t 4 Dinner. It was just salad and salad wraps and that is it.
But it ended up being SUPER SUPER GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday after viewing the beautiful Capital Building and the Library of C
ongress we
went on a DOUBLE DECKER bus. It was awesome. We can get on and off for 48 hours. It takes us all over Washington DC. We still have a lot more to see here in Washington DC. We will tell you more later! XO Jadelyn

Savannah Georgia
Hey y’all, this is Jadelyn talking about Savannah, Georgia. It is crazy beautiful, there are weeping willows and, old houses and it is known as the most haunted city in America sspooookkyyyy!(: ~ {) We were there for 2 days(one half day and a
whole day.) Well, we also went on a history tour. It was pretty interesting,
the best part was when we rode on a horse wagon. On the first day on the way back to the campsite my mommy thought she saw a HUGE alligator in the middle of
the road, So we turned around and it sadly = { got hit by a car. All you facebookers might know it because right when we got 2 the campsite we all ran in Lloyd freaked out. My mommy went straight 2 the computer
and wrote it on facebook. My sis will tell you more!
Hi it is Kylie and we just got in to DC were you know the one and the
only White house is. Well yesterday my sis and I (and my Mom) ate 1 and a half pound of CRAB LEGS!!! It was very good and we also went to
their beach on Tybee Island it was fantastic!
Close by at the lighthouse Miley Cyrus was shooting a new movie but we couldn’t see her because
she was on break. Then for dinner we ate at the Paula Deen restaurant it was fabulous!
Then this morning we went fishing and I caught the first and biggest fish of the day then my dad caught two other fish one like mine and one of the hard fish well the (smart) fish. The person close to us was fishing and caught a turtle but it was still alive. Bye-bye!
Joy here, we also want to tell you about the Haunted Tour we went on in Savannah. Savannah is now known as the most haunted city in America and on the tour they took us by many known haunted houses and we even got to go in one. We took pictures and we think one picture shows an
orb??? This house was featured on a TV show on the Sci-Fi channel (we think it is called America's Most Haunted). On our way back from Tybee Island we went to Fort Pulaski. It is a National Park. We learned about the Civil War and how the Confederate's lost at Fort Pulaski and the General in charge was the first to free the slaves in
South Carolina before President Lincoln gave the order. A college student taught us about the uniform and gave us a musket demonstration. These muskets were used during the Civil War. We drove many miles again today and we are now in Washington DC.Zoran is an amazing driver, I have only driven I think a total of 2 1/2 hours the entire trip so we thank him for getting us to all these wonderful places safely. Again we are havingthe time of our lives and we will
keep you posted throughout our journey! Love to all of our family and friends.
XO Joy Here is our poor friend "the alligator" :-(
