Joy here, My favorite so far is the Amish Country, we stayed in an RV resort in New Holland just outside Intercourse, PA. It is amazingly beautiful. We saw many hors
e and buggies pulling the Amish through town. The homemade baked goods are wonderful. We learned a lot about the Amish culture and enjoyed all the little antique and quilt shops. The girls will tell you the rest :-)
Howdie, it is Kylie here I am going to talk about the Amish Country! It was amazing and cool I want to
live their when I am older! We went to a tour on a horse and buggy and the Amish people wear clothes like back in the old days, like homemade dresses with apron
s and the men wear suspenders. The married men have beards but no m
ustaches. They don’t believe in electricity they have big farms and raise cows, sheep and horses I even saw a bull! One day we went to a Dairy F
arm we saw them milk th
e cows it was so cool th
ey did not use there hands don’t worry . We also saw baby cows,a cat and a dog well a
bulldog it was so CUTE her name was Samatha! The dairy farm had homemade ice cream and we bought the milk and it was the freshest and best milk I have ever had. We had homemade pie, whoppie pies and rootbeeer and all that! It was so AWESOME! My sister will now talk about
Phili!
Yo yo this Jadelyn talkin about Phili. It has been a lot of fun and historical. We saw the great Liberty Bell. You can see it
in the picture. We then went to Independence Hall where they wrote, adopted and signed the Constitution of the United States. I was unable to see it all because I had a little bug (threw up the night before) so I was a little weak. Once we had a big lunch I got my energy back. We then went on a double decker bus we saw where Rocky ran up the stairs in the movie.....so cool! Aunt Colleen told us the great places to eat so we ate at Dante and Luigis Italian restaurant. Yummy!! We also had cheese steaks on South Street. We meet a friend named Nikki at our campsite, she is a lot of fun. We went swimming, caught some guppies with a net and played in
the arcade. On our last day we went on a tube ride down the Brandywine river it was awesome! It took 2 hours and it was fantastic and relaxing. Bye for now and it might be a while until our next post because the campground in New York does not have Wi-Fi :( Love to all !
